Keeping it Green with CLEAN

Being “green” has become a buzzword in the past few years, but at CLEAN, we take our responsibility for the environment to heart. We are rethinking everything we do in order to conserve today for a CLEAN tomorrow.

CLEAN + Green = Everyone Wins

Beyond simply helping the environment, we also realized that when we “green” what we do, CLEAN benefits, and our customers benefit. No more fees and fines are being paid. Less electricity and fuel need to be purchased. Perhaps most important of all, a sharper focus on efficiency and waste reduction results in cost saving and faster service.

At CLEAN, we have always known that smart innovation keeps us growing and keeps our customers happy. Now we can help keep the planet happy too!

Keeping it Green is another part of The CLEAN Difference that we know you are going to love!

How CLEAN Stays Green

Industrial laundries are tasked with the responsibility of cleaning the communities’ dirtiest laundry.  Automotive repair shops, metals manufactures, nurses, doctors, grocery stores, restaurants, and many more rely on companies like CLEAN to not only get their laundry clean but, to handle the grease, oils, and other by-products from that laundry in a responsible manner.  They also expect CLEAN to be using the most environmentally-friendly chemicals available in the cleaning process for both the employees cleaning the garments and customer wearing the garments.

We take this responsibility seriously at CLEAN and have engaged in the process of continually “greening” our facilities and systems.

  • ISO 14001 Environmental Certification at all laundry facilities
  • Environmentally friendly (NPE-free) chemicals
  • Proper wastewater treatment procedures in place at all locations
  • Technology-based innovations greatly reduce the need for paper by providing electronic invoicing and on-demand printing
  • Fuel efficient vehicles: all management vehicles are 40+ MPG car models
  • High efficiency routing
  • Low energy lighting
  • Recycling program of paper, plastic, used
garments, mats as well as truck fleet
  • Solar power at select facilities to reduce our carbon footprint
