CLEAN offers flame resistant and high visibility products expertly engineered for safety and durability during occupational situations that have a high potential for danger. From food service plants to manufacturing facilities, we have been outfitting companies with the right gear to keep them in compliance with current regulations.

In the event of a flash fire or other catastrophe, our specialty garments can provide escape time, therefore reducing burns and increasing the chances of survival. Most importantly, CLEAN uniforms meet OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and ANSI 107 industry standards for safety and compliance. Our laundering practices also meet OSHA standards for FR and Hi Vis uniforms.

In addition to these safety features, our specialty garments are lighter and more comfortable than any other uniforms of their kind. CLEAN does not manufacture the uniforms, but rather partners with top manufacturers like Dickies, Wrangler, Van Heusen, Red Kap, Workrite, and Bermuda Sands. This allows us to present the best products and give our customers more choices of colors and styles that fit the needs of their uniform program.

For both supplying and laundering your uniforms, CLEAN has been a pioneer of our industry by keeping your industry safe. Come see how we have been making a difference since 1938!

Flame Retardant Uniforms

If you are in an industry or occupation with a high potential for fires igniting, your employees need workwear that can take the heat. Flame resistant clothing offers significant protection during flash fires or electric arcs. After all, the most severe burns are typically not caused by the fire at its source, but rather, they are the secondary result of clothing catching on fire. FR specialty garments help to stop clothes from ever igniting or reduces the severity of the fire and its spread. This could be the difference between life and death.

Flame resistant uniforms are not only a good idea—they are actually required in some industries, even if there is very little exposure to open flames. CLEAN is proud to carry specialty garments that meet both OSHA and NFPA industry standards.

  • OSHA 1910.269 – This code states that an employer is to ensure that their employees are not in clothes that may increase the extent of injury if and when they are exposed to electric arcs or flames.
  • NFPA 70E – This code outlines how to protect employees and how to avoid future workplace injuries and fatalities due to electrocution, shock, arc blast, and arc flash. Originally developed at OSHA’s request, it helps companies comply with government regulations.

Our FR clothing includes:

  • FR work shirts
  • FR tees
  • FR pants and jeans
  • FR outerwear
  • FR coverall
  • FR jackets

High Visibility Uniforms

CLEAN also offers uniforms designed to provide safety to wearers during periods of limited visibility or in complex and varying backgrounds found in many different occupations such as equipment operation and utility work along roadways.

Like FR clothing, Hi Vis has its own set of industry standards that CLEAN is proud to comply with. ANSI 107- 2010 is a code that requires apparel and headwear that visually signals a wearer’s presence. This is meant to offer additional protection in high stakes situations.

Our Hi Vis clothing includes:

  • Hi vis uniforms
  • Hi vis shirts
  • Hi vis pants
  • Hi vis jackets
  • Hi vis coveralls
  • Hi vis headwear & accessories

Specialty Garments Laundering

According to OSHA regulations, uniforms should be provided by an employer as well as maintained in sanitary and reliable conditions. This means that all clothing contaminated with grease, oil, or other flammable substances needs to be thoroughly cleaned or even replaced before additional use.

If you rely on your employees to launder their own uniforms at home, you run the risk of not complying with standards or, worse, you could put them in danger because their sanitizing methods may compromise the protective properties of the garment.

Hire CLEAN to take care of it all! We’ll take your used uniforms back to our facilities and put them through a rigorous cleaning program that complies with strict safety standards. Many companies trust us with the cleaning and maintenance of their uniforms due to our years of experience and highly personalized service. Only a reputable company like ours can handle specialty cases like flame resistant and hi visibility uniforms with the care and attention they deserve.
