Clean’s Richard Franklin Named Senior Vice-President

ST. LOUIS, MO -- November 4, 2009 -- Richard Franklin, has been appointed to Senior Vice-President of Clean The Uniform Company. Franklin had been serving as the firm’s Vice-President of Administration. He oversees all technology related products and services utilized by the 500-person company.

Franklin has been with Clean The Uniform Company for some 19 years and has helped lead the firm’s innovative use of technology. He was originally hired as an in-house software programmer when the company ran on just one IBM minicomputer. He worked his way up by repeatedly finding ways to customize technology solutions to fit CLEAN’S growing needs. Thanks to his efforts CLEAN is now on the cutting edge in the uniform industry with such innovations as customized Route Accounting Software.

Franklin says his success is a by-product of CLEAN’S culture. “One of the things that has driven me is I feel like I am part of a family here. You are not a number and working for a paycheck. You know the decisions you make effect the course of the company. When people speak fondly of family owned businesses, this is the type of place they mean. Some work environments are not that fun, and there are so many levels between you and the CEO. Here I was able to talk to anyone I needed to on my first day.”
